Introduction
LyteMeister Online is a handheld medical reference designed to help the user understand the diagnosis and management of common
electrolyte and acid-base abnormalities. It is an e-book containing
nearly 600
pages intricately woven together with more than 4000 hyperlinks to make
navigation easy. It is an educational tool suitable for medical
students, residents, and practicing physicians. LyteMeister and other
Meister programs are available at the MeisterMed website (www.MeisterMed.com),
formerly FPPalm.com.
The Meister series is produced by Andrew
Schechtman, MD, a family physician on the faculty of the San Jose-O'Connor
Hospital Family Medicine Residency, with the goal of improving point-of-care access to information essential for clinical
decision making.
