Trivalent Inactivated Vaccine
Adverse Reactions
- Vaccine CANNOT cause influenza.
- Local reaction: Soreness at the vaccination site lasting < 2
days. Typically mild.
- Systemic reaction: most common in first time vaccinees
- Fever, malaise, myalgia, headache
- Begin 6-12 hours after vaccine and last 1-2 days
- Allergic reactions (hives, angioedema, bronchospasm, anaphylaxis)
