ACC/AHA Pocket Guidelines
Management of Patients with
Chronic Stable Angina

Author: American Heart Association

Created/Updated: 7/14/2003

Size: 43 K

TheMeister Says:
Adapted from the full text guidelines published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and in Circulation in January 2003.  Includes flow charts, algorithms, and recommendations for the assessment and treatment of stable angina.  Also discusses the appropriate use of stress testing and angiography and indications for and approaches to evaluating patients with subclinical or suspected coronary artery disease.  A table with pre-test likelihoods of coronary artery disease based on characteristics of the chest pain also seems useful.  Well organized and easy to use.  Check it out!
