HCPCS Level II codes are used for procedures, supplies, and drugs not included in the AMA's CPT-4 codes.  CPT®Meister now includes selected HCPCS Level II codes including G codes, J codes, Q codes, S codes, and modifiers.

See below for details about some of this new content:

Note: HCPCS Level II codes are not CPT codes and are distinct from the American Medical Association's CPT-4 Editorial Content.

Conscious Sedation

Many procedures that are often done under conscious sedation bundle the reimbursement for administering conscious sedation into the CPT® code.  Now, CPT®Meister designates these procedures with the blue CS code.  Clicking on the CS takes you to a screen with details on its meaning.

Added data allowing precise
calculation of Medicare fee

CPT®Meister has always included RVU info but
now it includes more details allowing anyone to
calculate the allowable Medicare fee for a given
procedure in their particular geographic area.  In
addition, associated with every
CPT® code there is
now an estimated fee which is a ballpark estimate, not
taking geographic variation into account.
Use this for a quick reference.
