A Step-By-Step Guide


Step Two:
Create a Table of Contents

  • Insert some blank space near the top of your document.

  • On the toolbar, click on Insert then Hyperlink to bring up the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.

  • Next, click on the Bookmarks button.

  • Here you'll see a screen with all of the bookmarks and headings that you formatted throughout your document in Step One.

  • Click on one to choose it then click OK and you'll see you have inserted a hyperlink (usually blue) into your document.

  • Repeat this step with each of the other subject headings.
